My name is Ahmed Abdalla. I’m the son of Abdalla Ibrahim Abdelrahim, a retired police officer. I’m a Muslim Egyptian computer engineer and technology freak . I love computers and everything high-tech.

I started my journy with computers in a very early stage, and I faced a lot of problems caus

e in my life I lacked the proper guidance in the computer field, never had a mentor or a role-model, but I managed to get to a solid ground with the help of Allah, my internal guidance and some friends.

I take technology as a way of life to reach to my ultimate dream, to make some difference

in this world. If you asked me about my worst fears, not affecting this world and making some change in it would indeed be one of them.

I’m Married “or half-Married ” to Marwa Abdelaziz , a beautiful angel whom I can’t live without, and may Allah bless her , she’s always there for me and always provides me with the strength to continue in this life. I do love you Marwa and I will always do .

Technically

I’m a passionate developer and systems engineer. I’ve a unique, yet very powerful, mix between systems and development. I’m an RedHat Certified Engineer and Sun Certified Java Programmer. I’m an open-source believer and my main OS is Fedora . I use many languages but my most updated one is Java “due to recent projects”, but I love C/C++ , Perl and Python “thought didn’t start using it yet” .

Currently I work in Linux-Plus Information Systems L.L.C in Cairo as a Developer/Systems Engineer . We do everything, from providing RedHat and Sun official courses, to complete solutions using open source softwares. We provide RedHat, Sun, Novell and Oracle solutions and software. I worked in almost all of those, and I also work in the development unit, where we create and customize open source solutions and helper applications.
